Update on THE GLIF
With over 5,000 initial orders, the Glif has shifted to a higher-end process using a South Dakota firm, PremierSource. The less-expensive mold would have cost $5,000; the steel-tooled version they’ve decided on is instead $15,000-$20,000, but can be used to create vastly greater quantities in future.
I regret not putting in a pre-order. It’ll probably take weeks before I can get my hands on one.
