I Like Gmail Because It Makes Me Feel Safe.
When I can’t recognize a URL I feel as if I’ve been phished onto some malicious site. For this reason URLs play a big factor on whether or not I feel comfortable on a site. So I think somewhere deep down, that’s one of the reasons I prefer to use to use Gmail over Hotmail and Yahoo Mail.
Hotmail:

Yahoo! Mail:

Gmail:

Do any of you get the same feeling with unrecognizable subdomains?
This app is in beta, so many features are still yet to be added. However, I’ve tried it, and it works rather well.
Gmail Priority Inbox Sorts Your Email For You. And It’s Fantastic.
Email overload has finally met its match. Tomorrow, Gmail is rolling out a new feature called Priority Inbox that is going to be a Godsend for those of you who dread opening your email. In short, Google has built a system that figures out which of your messages are important, and presents them at the top of the screen so you don’t miss them. The rest of your messages are still there, but you don’t have to dig through dozens of newsletters and confirmations to find the diamonds in rough.

Google Voice is Coming to Gmail
The integration is right in Gmail and pops up like GChat, and is predictably integrated with contacts. The costs are the same as Google Voice mobile, and Gmail users can just click through a number to make a call.
Gmail is Google’s iTunes.
You can try out the new Gmail for iPad interface. Click here for instructions.
