Witness by Orbicule for Mac - $39
Witness turns your Mac into a home alarm system, using its iSight camera as a motion sensor. If motion is detected, Witness sends mugshots and video to your iPhone or iPad.
Beautifully designed app. Btw, there’s a 30-day money back guarantee.

Chopper 2 for the Mac controlled by iPhone
I wouldn’t be surprised if we even see Apple get in on the action, both enabling this type of cross-platform compatibility in its own apps (controlling Keynote on the Mac from an iPhone, for example), and including helpful calls in the API to let developers do so themselves.
Majic Jungle has led iOS cross-platform interactivity with Chopper 2 for many months now. Since then, only a handful of other apps (Scrabble, Plex, The Incident, and Keynote Remote) have taken the initiative to implement such a level of cross-platform ingenuity. If Apple is to jump on and support this kind of development, more app developers need to test the waters and show interest.

Mac OS X Dock Built Using CSS3 by Michael Hue
This is a quick CSS3 experiment trying to replicate the Dock of OS X, complete with labels, animations, reflections and indicators. It uses CSS transitions for the magnification effect and the
:targetpseudo-class and CSS animations for the bouncing effect.

An update and some clarification on Tweetie 2 for Mac
In fact, we’ve confirmed with Loren that it’s alive and well and he’s still progressing on Tweetie 2, even though with the acquisition and his new responsibilities, it’s taking longer than he originally anticipated. It’s also worth noting that he’s added another developer to help him move things along.
That’s a relief.

Apple just announced a media event on October 20th, accompanying it with this image. Looks like OS X 10.7 will be a Lion? If the rumblings I’ve heard while at WWDC are correct, it certainly sounds like it could well be the king of OS X releases.
Can’t wait.

This app is in beta, so many features are still yet to be added. However, I’ve tried it, and it works rather well.
